Information on the case from local sources, may or may not be correct : Iman and her brother Yousef were abducted by their mother, Ghada Abdel Fattah Said, from their Euless, Texas home on August 25, 1999. A photograph of Ghada is posted with this case summary. A felony warrant was issued for her on November 17, 1999, nearly three months after she abducted Yousef and Iman.
She had custody of them at the time she took them, but by leaving with the children she deprived their father, Hirsham Almetnawy, of his visitation rights. Ghada, Iman and Yousef may be traveling in a silver 1989 Honda CRS with the Texas license plate number YCJ05P. They may be in New York, Tennessee, California, or Egypt.
Ghada's DOB : is September 4, 1966, making her 32 years old at the time of her children's abductions. She's described as Caucasian, 5'2 and 115 pounds, with black hair and black eyes. She is an Egyptian national.
Iman was born in Burbank, California. Her whereabouts and her brother's are unknown and their cases remain unsolved.

According to the FBI�s National Crime Information Center (NCIC) Missing Person File, there are 89,637 active missing person records, of which juveniles under the age of 18 account for 30,396 (34%) of the records. (as of December 31, 2020)
AMBER Alert
�AMBER (America�s Missing: Broadcast Emergency Response) Alerts are emergency messages broadcast when a law enforcement agency determines that a child has been abducted and is in imminent danger. The broadcasts include information about the child and the abductor, including physical descriptions as well as information about the abductor�s vehicle - which could lead to the child�s recovery.�
The AMBER Alert system began in 1996 and was named in honor of Amber Hagerman, a 9-year-old who was abducted in Arlington, Texas, and murdered.
All 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands have AMBER Alert plans in place to help find missing children in danger.
As of December 2020, the AMBER Alert program has been credited with the safe recovery of 1029 children..
